This USB cable / Asus has replaced my original cord that was too short and that presented false contacts the side of the Asus outlet. At first glance, it seems a little stiffer than the Asus cord that is too soft and whose internal son will "wiggle" in every sense. It offers a good connection on the Asus connector. This time, the detection of the AC adapter power is instantaneous after several attempts on the tablet and dock. Not tested to check data in connection with a computer. I put a star less because the price is a little high and it is a little long. A length of 2 meters would have been sufficient. I chose it because the reviews were quite positive and this is actually the feeling I have too.
