This is the original sound of Grisham's epilogue. Had I seen this epilogue in advance, I probably would not even read the thriller and so saves me time lost. After all, the book is just plain annoying: boring, long-winded, with an absolutely implausible "Bonny & Clyde" plot, with unsympatischen protagonists and wood, confusing narrative style. Initially still sounds quiet criticism of the US justice system by: Strange, unjust judgments, overcrowded prisons, not rehabilitation, but locked away. But soon the story mutated into a pure "success story": How can the imprisoned unjustly ex-con including superlangbeiniger, super nice, super intelligent girlfriend the state and the authorities Wipe one and simply rich and happy? After all, what could be better than sex, wealth, eternal holiday on an island without "work out" the money to have? Eh Black money's wurst, who owns it! Maybe it should be a feel-good thriller for all the troubled, impoverished, unemployed, dead-US citizens along the lines of: Yes, you can do it - get rich - you just have to be unprincipled, determined and unscrupulous enough, then you can also on a Island sit and sip margaritas! But for me personally, the book was simple path just boring and annoying. Conclusion: No real Grisham, unrealistic and 08/15 - as he himself admits in the afterword: "Long Paragraphs of fiction were used to avoid looking up on facts." - With all respect, Mr. Grisham, honesty is a virtue. But then you'd have the book also quiet free to publish - no effort = no money!
