From the instructions I deviated slightly: No specific but regular salt, which also less than 500g (opened package). Since my machine has no setting for high water level, even added before or 1L water (unfortunately nowhere a statement how much more water should correspond to a high water level setting). Perhaps both were wrong - do not know how little water use modern machines and if my old might always washed with high water and it was too much then yes. Is a science in itself.
The result looks good: signs and stitching in the collar has assumed no color (apparently made fiber). When shell itself, the stripe pattern can be seen still remain on distance, but from the blue and white stripes were black and dark blue-gray (corresponds roughly to the "delicate" sound). Since I had never dyed what I did not know what to expect, unit Black would have been just fine with me, but the original color, it may just not quite cover or come from flowers pure white to deep black in color is probably too much to ask, or the salt makes a huge difference ... but who cares, it looks better anyway from the way it has become now.
What I do is regret having made all in the washing machine. The machine has not become broken or anything, but everywhere where there is a little water collects (in and around the rubber ring at the door, lint, etc.) there now sits the color, even after a further additional wash. Once the cleaning cloth to the rubber sleeve along all black - because I do not want to leave it that the subsequent washes nothing happens, so first made himself as much as possible clean. The detergent compartment I've even under running water and with an old toothbrush, do not get clean. Certainly there also some detergent residue in the game, to avoid like you would with an old well-used machine not quite. Perhaps more modern / better quality machines put away the loose, but with my machine I will not do it again. A bucket is more patient.
Coloring result 5 stars, Washer suitability 1 star.
