For the conversion to double-DIN double-DIN is obliged drive bay that can be purchased for about 50 directly at Audi. (TN: 8E0858005F)
Ashtrays, air diaphragm and center console have to be adjusted or exchanged for the DoppelISO component, but this is very costly.
Therefore, I worked on the pieces with a Dremel and a belt sander. (The air aperture must be machined laterally, to accommodate them deep in the shaft.)
In addition, I still needed a DoppelISO ISO Radioblende (Audi A4 - Seat Exeo)

For my configuration I needed the following components:
-. CAN bus adapter incl active system Adater (AUDI A4 Year from 120/00 to 10/2006, manufacturer Baseline Bez .: BV-303.)
- Phantom power
- Dietz Diversity Adapter (TN: 8560)
- 2x antenna adapter new to old (150 ohms to 50 ohms)
- Dietz Adapter Fakra -> ISO (TN: 8514)
The space behind the radio is extremely limited for all adapters and adapter plug. Therefore, I have drained the air shutter, connected the cables, inserted the radio and then moved the adapter and cables to the outside. After that, all lies are running completely and lock.
An ISO adapter is connected directly to the cable. On some pictures on the net you can only open cable ends.
The Dauerplus- and switching Plus cables can be reconnected quickly, if the radio does not want to keep his transmitter (with non-conforming connections in the car)

Works flawlessly. With laid to ground handbrake cable also play without the handbrake is possible. (Note: In D not allowed)
Menu items can be selected. Skip, forward, etc with no problems. The touch operation also works unobtrusively. Picture and sound are (for a 6.5 "monitor) well. Nothing jerky or stutters.

I have the USB cable (back firmly connected to the device) in the ashtray installed (just with the Dremel a suitable through hole milled).
My 2, 4, 8, 16GB USB flash drives are all read easily and quickly.
The tracks can be selected from a list. Play (and Shuffle) is easy.
Thanks equalizer can be a few adjustments to make, if the quality has suffered.
during MP3 playback also deposited Covers can be displayed.

From the original radio I was used to the best reception. Even with the adapter Diversity reception with the JVC is not nearly as good as the original radio. I have tried a lot (with phantom power and without). The reception is ok, but far from good.
Otherwise, the service is impeccable and intuitive. Station search, memories, etc. everything as usual. Lovely, too, that there are sub-menus, where even "tweaking" can be operated. Traffic Pilot, etc. can be activated via touch panel.

Once I start the car, I immediately after booting (about 20 sec) a BT connection. The supplied microphone I have housed in the ceiling panel. The laying of the cable took a good hour (am a layman). The phone is quality in both directions in order. Noises are filtered. There are moment during the conversation even adjust options, noise and volume.
------------ Bluetooth Audio: ----------------------------------- -----------------------------
When on the phone (with me a Galaxy S3 mini) an audio client is running (I use VLC) takes the radio directly to the currently selected track and play from there. The reception is ok and enough loose 2-3m around the car when the phone in your pocket infected. With the touch-control buttons can wound, skipped and example. the Shuffle mode can be selected. Great feature.
Unfortunately, I have to test any steering wheel remote control and no way DriveLink because the app (yet) running on the mini S3. A reversing camera I verbaue in the coming weeks and will report my experiences (The previous test operation went well, the camera is not yet mounted in the tailgate.)

The radio fits in well with the original car appearance, even though it has a glossy varnish. Thanks to adjustable lighting and customizable display elements I chose a red Fargebung on a black background, which goes well with the rest of the car. The display is both nachts- and daytime and easy to read even in direct sunlight, you can still decipher everything.

Technically sound is to the original radio in the little, but can be more versatile setting (thanks equalizer with practical presets).
My subwoofer does not regulate separately, since the setting on the radio is switched only for the built-in radio subwoofer output.

The operation is certainly not as intuitive as with original radio or radio buttons, but still very usable. The few buttons are convenient to turn Mute to quickly change the volume (knob), or to make the display dead and just listen to music.

I am satisfied with the device and would buy it again. For testing, I also had the 70 model there, but this can be non-power operation when it is in the DopplDIN frame.
