The author, John Paul Demoule, is not the type to write to warm water. Initially it surprises but the pages that proves very beneficial. Very informative book on the why and how of archeology. Excellent book to reflect on where I come from, where am I going, where I course. Exciting mix of scientific knowledge, questioning of our society, elected officials and ourselves. It challenges our beliefs, our convictions and our reflection on the society we want for our children and grandchildren.

One regret, but one can find the information elsewhere, or which sites we can visit archaeological areas in France and in Europe to continue the process.
