The Green Line (Paperback)

Customer Review

I had seen the film (with remarkable Tom Hanks) and naturally I was keen to find the emotions views: the story of the black giant, John Caffey ("like coffee, except that here s' written not the same, "he repeats) innocent appalling murders of two white girls and yet condemned to the electric chair: it is a fantastic story in every sense of the word: it is mainly the question of the death penalty which is put forward here on racism background. There is, I think, with rare exceptions, the "case" not obvious at all, although everything suggests that one holds the "real" culprit. I forget to write the Stephen King book is a gem in its impressive list of unforgettable stories: "Salem", "Ca", "Cujo", "Simetière," "Misery," "Shining" .. .etc.
After "Hearts in Atlantis, it's one of my favorite books of the" master ": I'm sure you will not be disappointed: I am deeply convinced that the story appeals to everyone!
