In general, I must say that the sound-image of YAS 103 is incredibly clear, whether classical, punk rock, dubstep, action films or news, you can every rustling leaf and every instrument perceive. With a piano concerto by the panel you get the feeling to sit upright even at grandma's piano. By contrast, the low-cost LG NB3530A has naturally tough game, there seem especially news and Punk Rock extremely flat and a little rattling.
The biggest difference between the two systems is the "3D sound". Both are 2.1 systems, but support digital surround sound. While one hardly has a contrast to other sound modes in the LG NB3530A, one is through the "7.1 surround sound" really in the midst of all the actions. The YAS 103 dresses our 22m² living room completely in music. The spatial representation is obviously not comparable to a real 5.1 system.
There are by my side at most one and a half Negative points:
-0.5: The equipment of ports (no USB, no HDMI) can not fault it, but is a matter of taste. I enjoyed it completely passed (the LG NB3530A has no HDMI). Both sound bars come with Bluetooth and the YAS 103 can even be controlled via an app where the sound can be changed on an optical surface. In addition, the YAS 103 offers an infrared pass-through, if it covers the sensor of the TV and may be taught directly to the TV remote control.
-1: Only the previously acclaimed bass is a bit too thin for some music lovers and action movie fans. There, the LG NB3530A the YAS 103 clearly superior, just when the TV is removed as in our case, 5m from the couch. The bass is quite noticeable and most well enough, but if you want to have BUMS right, it just needs a separate subwoofer. Therefore, I had considered resorting to the YAS 203 with an external subwoofer, however, these costs also again 150 more.
Conclusion: If you is not a bass fanatic and a little emphasis on room-filling sound, which should in any case the 80 invest more and opt instead for the LG NB3530A for YAS 103! According to tests in the Internet could Maxell 2.1 Soundbar MXSP-SB3000 (200) represent a good alternative, which is to have a little more bass and a lot more connections (3x HDMI) has, this I certainly have not tested yourself. If I had had a bigger budget I would personally probably resorted to the more expensive 150 YAS 203 with an external subwoofer.
