Bought for my mp3 is an alternative to headphones, I think the sound is very decent given the size and price of this speaker. No doubt a more expensive product will make for better sound quality, but I did not want to invest too much money for the use I make it counted. It is supplied with a cord "double entry" USB jack and not separable wrapped around a clip that can adjust the length of desired thread. Moreover, I liked the look rather nice that matched well with my mp3 Transcend black and blue too. I'm happy with my purchase.
