Risen 2 from the perspective of veterans glasses ..

Hey People,
as you can see I want some in my review from the perspective of "veterans" report.
Here it goes exclusively to my own opinion. Correct me please if I with any information
OAE. next lie! Possible Spoiler I warn against.

Well on the subject ..

I own Risen 2 since the release as CE Edition. With a running time of 36 hours, I have the game played out and must
say that I am branded largely positive. Let's start with the negative points:

Battle System
Yes, here are already some people have written the frustration of the soul. I can understand why some very disappointed
were because the battle system is really not the best. In my mind, everything is a matter of timing. Evasive Moves owns one

Monster

Let's talk about the positive aspects of the Games

Graphic
Absolutely convincing. It made me beastly fun to wander through the woods, monster hunting and the individual
Exploring islands through its paces. Rounded great lighting effects and mostly smooth (not blurry) textures
the successful impression from.

Animations / movements
That reminds me of one: typical Gothic! Bit edgy and wood, here and there did not fit the character movement
the spoken but heck? I did not feel it as overly dramatic and am already of the Gothic

Sound / Music / atmosphere

The characters come across very credibly. The synchronization is consistent and large. The Voices

Quests
More often it was collecting this or that often BUT you had to really think about what to tackle next AS.
Tricky puzzles I actually missed entirely what I did not find quite as bad.
A lot of variety is also given by the many islands, one I have to always adjust
and can be seen constantly new faces and landscapes (and thus connected the quests).

So much for the good stuff.

Neutral I see the following points.

Killing / robbing / steal
Killing is no longer in this sense. In order to kill someone needs your principle be hostile towards you,
Say: Animals, Marauding pirates etc. Everything else OAE in cities. can not kill but just umhauem you.
Pickpocketing is as good as not at all take place .. Cracking a box is now a nice mini game I completely
but managed to easily find.

Img whole, I find the game but managed. Here and there, I may not have addressed a few things but
these are not so much like me then personally significant. To be noted here again: That's all from the perspective of
a guy who has played sher like Gothic and with it the charm, character and story was great. Great game, I would buy myself again and in my eyes and a worthy continuation of the first part. Keep up the PB, I am really been playing through the game again and then, of course, with other variations !!!
