Until the chic Dyson fan moved in with us, I was in possession of a typical black / blue stand fan with such a normal rotor blade. The part had exactly 3 levels, from no fit. Either one could feel very little or it came so much wind that I the next day by train had a tearful eye. These still came the pleasant crunch and Knartschen if you had turned on the swivel function.
So I had already pushed the part in the farthest corner, but when our offspring came, had the old piece completely soft. I know there are bars on the leaves. But as a toddler has also really small fingers or is also very creative in testing, what else so from the budget fits into the lattice. My fear was just too big and so we sat many a summer day in the living room quite sweating and tried in vain to catch a breath of air by pulling.
But that everything has an end. Frankly, I had not seen how big the pedestal fan is and was initially very scared about the size. Provide unobtrusive somewhere is there rather not. But somehow it also looks in design from so chic that you would not have to hide. Even though I of 10 visitors always first has to explain about 8, what is the "comic part in the corner" because. ;)
Especially in comparison to its predecessor, this is a real treat here. No loud harsh creak, you can still super entertained when the unit is running at full level and a total of 10 stages, one finds for also getting the perfect stage.
Operation can be the fan via a remote control. This can be up to fix the fan by magnetic. The magnet would but calm can be a little stronger. I'm ever encountered accidentally against the fan and it flew the same remote control from. This would be disastrous to lose, as all functions of the fan can not be set directly, but only by the remote control.
I can also confirm that the configuration easy and is self-explanatory. Read the manual was no need for it.
Overall, we are absolutely satisfied with the fan, only the price scares really quite off. If the thing in many years still runs flawlessly, I revise my opinion on this point maybe;)
