I myself actually always play racing games. That really started with the very old Need For Speed-parts, then went on the GTR series to burnout. So have been through quite a bit. Be it therefore simulation games or casual games. Nevertheless, I would put more into the category of casual gamers.
Full of anticipation, I have my PS4 fed directly to the disc.

With amazement I found that I had black borders around. The picture looked something like this, such as an incorrectly positioned zoomed 16: 9 picture. However, the error made himself fairly quickly identified. Namely, it is up to the display range setting that was still in default with me. For that I have simply adapted under Settings => Sound & display => display range settings. Curiously, ran until now every game without problems. Why Drive Club in regard therefore makes funny business is beyond me.

But then has directly the next error made wide on the screen: "The connection to the server was lost Club Drive ...". Okay I thought, "in Deuschland is still no release. Just wait." Here is also the official release day anything yet. To many it is probably similar. But for some it seems to go. Sony is already working well on a solution. Something I find frankly shameful because the server supposedly already running for such tests since the end of September. Well, then I have just turned me to the single player Kampange.

The "tour" (the name of the Kampange) consists of various levels of difficulty. The easiest level is Rookie, Amateur and follow on Semi-Pro. Professional and Legend are the highest two levels of difficulty. Up Semi-Pro me all the fun is also like relatively simple. Until then I have almost all the challenges that exist during each race get (eg in the top 3 to come). On Professional I'm so slow at my limit. But practice makes perfect, of course. In the various levels of difficulty, there are also different cars. While manauf Rookie eg even with a golf through to roars coming on Professional already sports car like the Audi R8. And here it is also exciting because most vehicles must logically be unlocked. Either this happens through the driver level (you get uA during races by overtaking "EXP") or through the Club level. One can, would the server finally work, so starting a club with friends and these levels. Is according cars where the driver is done by level or the club level. Accordingly, some vehicles are unlocked. Since the server, as already mentioned, do not work. can I tell the entire multiplayer nothing practical. In theory it sounds but everything very well thought out.

I would like to highlight yet that the game and the developers want to bring one to vernümpftigen driving by, there are special challenges where you have to drive a lap without errors. + Gameplay / Control: I already knew after the first couple of corners that I like the gameplay. It just feels good. Evolution Studios has, I would say so, found the perfect mix between simulation and casual gaming. It feels very directly and not spongy, as in some other racing games. I myself am absolutely thrilled by the controller. However, one must of course say that any car can also drive differently. There is for example a reputation (manufacturer who specializes in the refining of Porsche) and drive to be a disaster. I recently had a tournament consisting of 2 or 3 races where I have to go by car. Unfortunately, it is a car that is designed on drifting and I think for a race thus is unsuitable. So the car could also go then. But overall driveability of Autus is very pleasant

+ Car models: I say here now aware of car models since only convinced me directly. The cars just look cool. Super nice and detailed. It's just fun to look at the cars. Especially when you have the visually enhanced a bit, the car a real eye-catcher

+ Racetracks: In addition to the cars that's arguably the most important in a racing game. Drive club has to my knowledge no licenses for real race tracks, so the circuits are therefore unique. I find very good, because I myself have already felt played 20 racing games where you drove on the Nordschleife. The racetracks in Drive club itself also differ. Either you drive on closed roads and on the "right" race tracks. The routes themselves are also very different. So there are routes where you can really step on the gas and there are routes where you should leave it more. Then there are stretches where it is mixed and you really have to watch out for themselves what's coming next.

+ Behind the scenes: The scenes of the routes are chosen very cool. Thus, a day / night cycle during the race ever occur. Atmospheric which is very well implemented, because the foresight thus naturally decreases and it is so much more focused. Then of course there are the tracks in snow regions or in very dry areas. Driving behavior itself I have still found no big difference.

+ Control Adjustment: Again, kudos to the developers. Finally it creates a well on the console einfzufügen an individual key assignment. So you can choose yourself where you want to have what. However, the default setting will be absolutely enough already for most on the controller. I have since adapted at least nothing more. The same is also true for the control on the steering wheel.

+ Remote Play Adaptation: I was so excited that I have to enter your own selling point here. Something I have not seen in any game that you can separately adjust the remote play control. + Sound: In advance has been so widely reported, are the sounds of the cars produced and adapted individually. If I'm not mistaken, it even has the original sounds of the respective cars used for. + Optical Adjustments: Usually I do love tuning in racing games. Drive club is rather one of the games that do not have it with tuning so here. I personally find not so bad, since Drive Club yes rather goes towards realism. Accordingly one can also only visually tuning. Say only the paint. Not tuning spoilers etc. precisely. o Graphics: I had mentioned earlier that I have convinced directly only the car models. The rise namely on the remaining graph. The rest of the landscape looks good. No more and no less. Cons:
- Damage model: The damage model in Drive Club is probably one of the worst I've ever seen. I can butt to drive at 150 km / h on a wall and I have in front plate a few scratches. Such crashes have not even affect driveability. Too bad. One would have something to integrate super.

- Race operation: Namely, each race is more or less from the same. It's always the same driver the ride during a race forward and it is always the same, the building at a certain point an accident. I celebrate the game. Despite the relatively large number of negative aspects, it fascinates me. Since I paid through the PS4 pre-order voucher in July 2013 only 20 of the game, I can even overlook almost two eyes on the negative points. For 20 you get a really good game. 70 the game would not believe myself now worth, since I'm not the biggest Racer.
But there is even the Playstation Plus Edition. And in addition there is indeed the possibility to upgrade the game to the full version. The fun will cost a then think 30-40. And that is again not too much but adequate.
So if you are undecided, then buy the PS + -Edition. Do you like Drive Club, then worried the upgrade, unless you can you do without the box. But the game itself, I may well to people who love racing games without any worries recommend.
