I say this as a former Dyson advocate who would be that it is so much better now.
After years of experience with Dyson (bought for 480), in which I have indeed pleased me the bagless operation, but otherwise never become really warm'm with the Dyson because there were:
- Bulky, heavy handling. For me as a man Just OK, but women (girlfriend and Putzhilfe agree) do not like the vacuum cleaner
- The noise, the part that has spread
- Especially the unhygienic emptying the vacuum cleaner!
(1 Unsavory but common household dust and unavoidable Crumble hairball must be plucked from the wires of the cyclone nozzle by hand.
Reason: waste and cyclone nozzles are combined in one container.
2. The entire Cyclone / waste unit must be removed for emptying. This is cumbersome, especially so great that it is sufficient even with a 120-liter round trash can to the brim and the emptying always something goes wrong.
3. By when emptying that open, dehiscent flap of dirt / content rushes into the trash, swirls on this and also polluted the lid, holding your breath until the dust cloud descends is called for).
In everyday use of high Dyson purchase price was indeed soon forgotten-not the noise, the bad handling of disgust when emptying / Zyklonensäubern and the ugly yellow color!
After direct comparison of Rowenta with Dyson, a review praised Bosch and Co "real" on the ground in a planet-electric market was clear: the competition has not geschlafen- in Rowenta all me known advantages are combined in one device.
Here the plus points, even after the sale:
* No more dust bags buy (well, that was already the old Dyson)
* Great handling, large rubber wheels, valuable processed metal extension with Einrasterungen, good leadership around the corner around, furniture brush is firmly integrated into the intake manifold and without plugging always ready for use
* Good suction
* "Just a knuffiges part" (quote girlfriend) ...
Above all, finally the very things no longer, who annoyed the Dyson vacuum cleaner since the beginning:
* The Rowenta is very, very quiet. Such a low voice I've never seen a vacuum cleaner. It is possible to suck, interfering noise standard in the same room without someone
* The suction power is manually (directly to the handle) adjustable as needed, parquet-strong to weak laundry (with my Dyson went not, may be the newer models can do so)
* Despite meager 900 watts saving consumption very good suction
* And, only on the 2nd view of purchase and in practice can be seen: the cyclone nozzle is in a separate housing and does not have to be cleaned constantly!
Ie after sucking empty only the dirt drawer, if necessary wipe -. Done!
When Dyson and all other vacuum cleaners that I had contemplated (eg Bosch), one came when emptying the dirt in contact, or had all possible parts
clean. Here the dirt is separatisiert, only in the dirt-drawer, otherwise nirgends- awesome! The best: the drawer I give in easily in the pocket at the top glasses in the dishwasher.
Those who know both systems, will not choose the Dyson. I really do not know a single detail that speaks for Dyson.
The only caveat to my review is that I currently do not know how it looks with durability of Rowenta vacuum cleaner and with the spare parts / service. 3 years free warranty extendable (when registering the device) are an announcement in any case.
One thing I must certify the Dyson - durable is the Dyson - longevity. He has not let up in the suction power for a long time.
The company Dyson can do anything even after years liefern- but at such high prices and sometimes long delivery times, I prefer to buy something new to me!
CONCLUSION:
The Rowenta 8252 is nicer, quieter, more manageable, more energy efficient, hygienischer- and for a little over half the price of a Dyson.
If he proves to be durable for me the best present.
And so is, at the instigation of my friend, now the unloved yellow howler monsters away.

Addendum: small downer
HEPA 13 filter: according to instructions this should be changed annually.
The prescribed filter "ZR9015.01" the "from your dealer or customer service center is available" I could not find on the web under the name.
Rausgenommen filter, image comparison: it is the "Rowenta ZR901501 Hepa filter for SFE Cyclonic", this will cost 32 (Amazon, delivery 3-5 weeks) to 43rd
In this long delivery time, he does not seem to be all the rage.
Who does so seriously, with ALWAYS FRESH AIR sucker and the recommended annual change of the HEPA 13 filter, is charged in the years of the dream-sucker again a good portion of the purchase price for filters.
Despite the savings to need no more vacuum cleaner bags. But suppose at Dyson, Bosch and Co the Hepa 13 filter also not be cheaper. Therefore, for me that is indeed disappointing, but for now (still) rating neutral.
So far I have no experience, because my Dyson had no Hepa filter. And that the new Rowenta is spitting clean air with new, clean filters beautiful, but with a new device also not such a big feat.
Maybe someone can say something about it, if it is necessary the filter (year?) To replace, or something towards the cost of other producers and whether it must be Hepa 13, there are other models Rowenta Hepa filter starting at 10 degrees.
