Runs under Windows 8.1 (64-bit) without problems

I have the version of F-Secure for my laptop with Windows 8.1 (64-bit) concerned in order to secure the device in the coming months. Until now I had the Pro version of Avast! run it, but was not really happy with it because of the sometimes very high performance penalty. And before I renew my license for another year there, this version of F-Secure offered.

The installation went smoothly. Insert Disk, start installation, enter registry key and register. After a few components from the web are still loaded and then restart the system. A first full test then ran without problems in the background.

As far as I can not complain. The virus scanner running after a short acknowledgment to the firewall during installation without any problems with this together.

With viruses I had as yet no real problems, but I use a virus scanner in addition to the firewall as the default, if indeed things do get through. Now I have F-Secure for several days running in use and the program without any incidents or problems in the background. At least it requires less system resources than my previous virus scanner, which becomes somewhat noticeable when opening web pages and e-mails, because they can be accessed more quickly felt.

I With regard to the security of course only speculate, but I trust that the folks at F-Secure respond rapidly to emerging threats.

The adjustment to the other virus scanners are pretty simple, but what I consider as an advantage, as you so well can make fewer mistakes in the protection.

Otherwise, I can only say that you get a fast and slender virus scanner for the price. And I hope that I'll never see the program in full use. I, however, the services in an already infected system can not estimate here, I forgive the program a score of around 80%, that earned four stars in the rating.
