In its price range is (or at least it wa in March when I bought the device), the Vivo Tab of equipment and performance of the hardware forth really top class. Photoshop up to version 5.1 runs without a trailer and thanks to the downloadable drivers for Wacom Tablet PC's can be simulated with the pen pressure levels. Drawing on this device is fun even if the pin detection at the edge sometimes is somewhat spidery.
... That is at least as long as it works.
Clear for the price you can not expect miracles but which have now occurred on my device for errors is really absurd.
It all started with the fact that the integrated pen has scratched the surface of the glass Diplays when using. A protective film was also cut up I switched on a Wacom pen. Then everything worked first for one to two months without any problems.
Until the stylus function increasingly turned out and is finally no longer starts. Attempts to solve the problem over to reinstall the driver helped only temporarily, finally brought the complete reinstallation of the device any more. So sent inquiry to Asus and repair. That was good stead also relatively quick and very competent.
However, the error tratt after a few days already, and on the tablet was suddenly an unregistered version of Windows 8.1 for which I had no registry key, which is why the tablet was somewhat constrained. Another mistake was that the SD card drive suddenly the card is no longer recognized, they must be a couple a times, thus pushing it back klappt.Letztendlich the pin detection was again entirely the ghost (Wacom Device error 10).
Currently I have a new repair request, and hope that it works this time the device to expel his quirks or the Asus deigns to provide a replacement unit, because I need the tablet for my studies ..
However, this error appears to occur only variety with some devices. So it's pure luck if you caught one of these roaming menace or not.
