Same quality ... but where did the ATB-sound?

For over 10 years ATB is now producing high quality trance and very place that with outstanding consistency that few in the day.
Also "Distant Earth" is no exception, the tracks can convince.
The reason why I give the album 4 or actually only 3 1/2 star, is the radical style change. I do not mean the music style itself but this particular sound, where you could see a ATB title immediately and ran through all his previous studio albums ... at least until "Distant Earth", because this breaks the circuit. "Running A Wrong Way" is a good example - I thought the first time you hear on the radio that it is Paul van Dyk's work. Also "Twisted Love" bears no resemblance to ATB's previous productions, and it runs through the whole album.

I am careful to say that I "Distant Earth" do not like, on the contrary, but I miss the old days, who with "Future Memories" culminated and probably come to an end two years ago.
