Before I bought the S3 mini, I have several weeks intensively researched (Youtube, chip, Inside Cell, Connect, etc.) that best fits the phone to me. I had previously an iPhone 3GS, then HTC One S (but which fell after numerous disturbances) and then had to get a new smartphone. First, the question arose as to whether I need a high-end cars, or whether a middle class Smartphone sufficient. Since I had neither a great gamer am, nor ever would see HD videos on my phone, a mid-range smartphone is sufficient clearly. Important now in further purchasing decision was mainly the display size. It should be possible to use the phone with one hand, which is equal to 4.3 inches is just less only in smartphones possible. I would have preferred this, when a 4.3-inch display would have been installed in the S3 mini because it is in a man's hand (if you have primarily used already larger phones) but a bit lost. Another purchase decision was the style. The S3 mini just looks good, can look very sophisticated in his hand. I also wanted a Adroid smartphone because I am bored of IOS (far too few customization options) and Windows Mobile for myself there is still quite immature and especially confusing. Of course, the equipment also played a role. I just wanted a smartphone that runs smoothly. With a dual-core processor, the latest Android and 1GB of RAM which was indeed also made possible.
Alternatively, then the HTC Desire X only came in question, but which has no front camera for video calling.
Another, rather unimportant purchase decision was the very annoying policy of large smartphone manufacturer. For example, Samsung / HTC brings a top product on the market, 1-2 months later, the LTE version, now with the HTC One X + and Samsung has been around first news about the S4. As a customer, I feel with such a policy but a little ripped off before and would annoy me a lot more if I had spent 500 euros for a smartphone that would no longer be the latest after two months.
On the specs and equipment I will not go, because they are already present in the product description.
The package includes in addition to the mini S3: 1 x headphones with different attachments, 1 x USB cable, 1 x charger, 1 x battery
For device pros and cons:
+ Design and Processing
Equipment: 2 cameras, dual core, 1GB RAM
+ Fast, simple and beautiful menu -> Android runs very smoothly
+ Mobile WiFi access
+ Display (sharp, very beautiful colors)
+ Memory expandable
+ Replaceable Battery
+/- Music playback via headphones / speakers: All ok, enough for normal listening to music from
+/- Camera: The camera takes good pictures, but you should not expect too much from a 5 megapixel camera. It takes a little longer for the camera to set the focus. The front camera is sufficient for video telephony good when the interlocutor is not sitting on a big screen
+/- Call quality: it is certainly to be valued at well (no noise, etc.). I, however, never had a cell phone with poor call quality I would classify here the quality rather than normal. (Although one quite so the volume can not be adjusted according to how I'm used to from previous devices that)
+/- The loading of web pages via mobile data takes but a little longer
+/- Battery: After a week of use my S3 creates mini one day in the late evening, it must then back to the charging station. The battery assessment, it is always rather difficult, because each uses his mobile phone differently. For me, the mobile data eg always on, 40-50 minutes Internet (Facebook, Whats App, Google etc.), about 4 Sms and about 2 calls (about 3-5 minutes). Compared to old bullion phones which of course is very bad, but normal for today's smartphones. I will soon, if available to order me a better battery in the accessory shop.
+/- Touch screen: The touch screen responds quickly and smoothly. However, it has still managed no manufacturer to develop in my opinion, a touch screen, nearing the iPhone (Tip accuracy).
- Maybe the size - If you have previously used a 4.3-inch smartphone or greater, then the S3 mini in a man's hand but a bit lost
- To me it is now often happens that suddenly no Internet connection was there. The off and on the mobile data but then immediately helped
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a top mid-range smartphone with extremely attractive design. All previously downloaded apps run smoothly, just browsing through the Internet brings joy. I would prefer all the other devices such as iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S3. I generally believe that many smartphones are "overpowered" in the market for the average consumer total. However, I can also understand that in addition to gaming factors as prestige reasons play an important role in the purchasing decision.
Ultimately, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is a great everyday phone that typical applications like Facebook, Email, Whatsapp, Navigation, News, photos, etc. very well satisfied and thus makes life a little more comfortable. I would in addition to research on the internet but still advise you to look at the devices in the next electronics store live.
