Pro:
- Brilliant and brighter display with crisp text display (ideal for reading eBooks)
- Relatively easy
- Attractive design
- Good albeit incomplete hardware equipment (no NFC, GSM and GPRS, USB 3.0)
Cons:
- Vergleichsweuse modest battery life (about 7 - 8 hours of continuous use without power saving mode) - had hoped for more from the AMOLED technology
- Make the Samsung typical software and operating-quirks that the buyer to beta testers
- Example 1: lock screen on it after 1 to 3 seconds, and there is hardly time to unlock the device, let alone read any information. One can adjust this time nowhere! Same time, I can customize the lock screen with apps - Samsung really great!
- Example 2: In the power saving mode, the Auto Brightness unfortunately does not. The display is always much too dark!
- Example 3: Data transfer USB üer with my Windows PC 8.1 is susceptible to faults and folds in 2 of 3 cases and not breaking with error message
- Aspect ratio of 10.5 inch screen is still not ideal for reading - when finally comes a 4: 3 Tablet from Samsung?
- Tons of preinstalled software subscription and waste that can not be removed and constantly asks for updates - annoying!
- Speakers sound modest
- Feel and handling of the device with the narrow frame could be better
- Advertised features like Sidesync work again not (Note 2) or only with the latest models - which is then in small print and in my opinion CustomersLinked asses!
- The Exynos 8-core CPU power brings in practice, unfortunately, very little. The surface reacts sometimes delayed, the onscreen keyboard does partly up to 3 seconds until it becomes available
Conclusion: The brilliant high-resolution display is high new standards in the mobile space and makes the Tab S to my opinion best tablet for the consumption of videos, images and, with limitation of non-optimal format, also books and magazines. Also known as PC replacement can convince thanks to multitasking and leistugsstarker hardware device. As years of Samsung users I arranged myself to be a beta tester. Those who do not want perfection and seeks that one would expect at the price, which is still waiting with the purchase or remains better on the iPad.
