I have the AV receiver now little more than a week on the run and I must say for the price the device is working properly. Previously had a Sony AV receiver + HDMI switch in use. Now I am switched to Full HD + 3D and so either had a new switch or an AV Reciver of both may forth. After a long search which is not easy because I was also 2 HDMI outputs need (TV / beamer) and wanted to spend less than 900, I came across the Samsung. For device I can say that the construction and setting up quite simply went. The display shows everything you need to, but could do with an eating more brightness. The OSD display also reminds me strongly of ATARI times, but you can read everything and adjust. The iPod control leaves something to be desired. Play / Pause / back and forth to work, but not on TV yet on the display of the Samsung sees where the player is currently located. Only by pressing a button on the iPod you can see quite small in the iPod's screen which album it processes just. This could have been also display on the screen. Well hope you can still aufpepen or changed by a software update? To the sound of the Samsung I can only say that he still sounds pretty cool on the HDMI connections, it will test again on TOSLink, but for the living room cinema, he was good enough from. My conclusion: would buy this receiver for the money again.
