What I like:
+ Camera is quickly ready to start.
+ The huge zoom range! This one brings it all really.
+ With the image stabilizer, you can still keep pretty quiet even at 30x freehand.
+ The lens is very bright over a large part of the zoom.
+ Camera can focus at 30x to 1.4 m. If you can not make time macro shot, then so are the pictures about the same size and sharp!
+ The noise removal at the JPGs is pretty good. I had a predecessor from 5 years ago, there was ISO 400 max, because it then had to grieselig. Here 1600 is even more watchable.
+ Remote control wireless / NFC and smart phone. For self-portraits, family and group photos this is definitely a practical matter.
What I do not so good for:
- 1.3 seconds exposure time and longer the ISO value of the firmware is set at 80. You have no chance to change it.
- I may be spoiled by my old camera, but since I could erase images with 2 clicks. Now I have to go to the menu for Always.
- With Videos in quiet environments you can hear the autofocus of the camera quite good.
- The Wi-Fi hotspot, the camera can create, seems rather arbitrary in its performance. If I thus transmit a live image to my phone, then the liquid is sometimes, but often increased it and jerky rum. I do not know whether the camera is overwhelmed or simply very many WLANs disrupt the network. As a workaround, create the hotspot on my phone, which is more reliable.
- The camera does not store passwords of Wi-Fi networks. When I connect the camera to my home WLAN and off and turn on again, then I have to re-enter the password.
What I want to have mentioned:
The control is a bit strange. Example:
Videos in full quality go for example only in the Video mode, even if you can make videos in each mode.
When you get used to it, but that is not an obstacle.
All in all I'm very happy with the camera. One star deduction gibts really only because I limited the firmware itself in manual mode the ISO speed by prolonged exposure.
