I have now (unfortunately) 2 8-port switches and a 5-port switch of this series, and two of the three units have already defaulted inexplicably. It begins with the fact that they no longer support despite existing cable connection and the appropriate beacons network traffic, ie, although the attached devices still have an IP address, but can send over the network no longer signals. By simply turning off / on to resolve the phenomenon, but it accumulates and the operation intervals are getting shorter. Finally, things are no longer usable - two of the three units were to within a year across. I have now switched to Cisco, I'm curious if this works better.
