Absolutely extraordinary, however, is the quality of radio reception and the additional function of a digital display incl. A clock and an alarm clock. The transmitter can either be laboriously adjusted manually in 0.1 MHz steps, or you press the channel scan, which then stores all available channels in sequence. The alarm clock alarm with a buzzer. Funny and not insignificant detail: On the rear panel you will find the on-off switch, which switches off the speakers together with the display - but the alarm function remains active!
As a speaker, the device is great in black and red downright elegant, dominated all standards incl. Answer the phone and jack for an external device. BT-range and signal stability are good, the battery playing time as well.
So, and why now only almost perfect?
The double assignment of keys for tuning and volume disturbs only the beginning. Annoyingly it's there already, that you always have to click through the entire memory for radio station selection; also deleting unneeded stations is not possible. A Weckmöglichkeit with radio does not exist, although this function would be close. The battery life in pure operating as a clock could m. E slightly longer (4-5 days).
Thus the EXPOWER is indeed a pretty perfect Bluetooth speaker, but not a perfect alarm clock (which would have been possible). Nevertheless, there is of me a clear recommendation.
