A psychic, ghosts of the Civil War, a ghost rider, a family curse, apparitions, theft of art objects, are just some of the ingredients of this story full of twists and reading very nice and fluid. Until around the 150th page, this brings to mind an episode of "Scooby-Doo" (my reference film of the day! Here it is placed ...), then it becomes more brutal and bloody. By the same author, I preferred "The Pest" (in a different register), but it's still a good novel, very rhythmic S.Brussolo we book here. I will not miss the further adventures of Mickie Katz, the heroine of this series.
