Those who know how to manually adjust the flash settings, will be warm very quickly with this device.
On E-TTL I could personally do without, because I need the flash primarily as a second device to illuminate such as larger spaces better (keyword unleashed flash).
A E-TTL for Canon is part of my equipment (Speedlite 430EX II).
That is why I dare here a direct comparison to the processing quality of the YN560-II.
The Canon flash is certainly valent (!), But by no means one should assume that the flash Yongnuo total scrap is at this price. On a scale of 1 to 10, the Canon flash would with me a full credit received (processing, housing, stability etc.).
The YN560-II I would nevertheless behind colonize relatively closely with a subjective evaluation of 6-7 points.
Considering the price, I find this review very positive!
Small sacrificing quality you just have to accept.
In a direct comparison of the YN560-II by the way (IMHO) even has the better button.
I feel the buttons when Canon 430 EX II sometimes a little too deep, the buttons are not for the thick / wide fingers. ;-)
I would DSLR users do not necessarily recommend this to lightning than buying only flash.
Here one should nevertheless contain grip befitting a genuine Canon device (for the E-TTL functionality).
As a second-, third- or fourth-flash but the YN560-II is an unbeatable price.
Personally, I would have it the way I have found when the Yongnuo developers have the flash head provided with a lock button.
This is solved in the Canon flash clearly better.
Overall, however, no reason to reduce the high rating.
The low price makes such trifles void.
I already flirting now with the purchase of another YN560-II. -D
