I expected a true guide as Jemma Kidd or Bobbi Brown but it was not the aim of Rae Morris. The final makeup pictures are nice, but the steps are surprising. Indeed, the artist wanted to show Makeup makeup without altering the record: the contrast between the strong look without makeup and with certain models: it is attempted. There is an interesting section on makeup for mature skin. Photos and witnesses weaknesses of certain products, such as cosmetics cream for example. Unlike Mrs Kidd and Brown Rae Morris does not dwell on skin care. But rather on the use of powders that sculpt the face and the different foundation (not very informative given the amount of new textures on the market!) And the pictures do not do justice to the exhibited products. It's a shame. The book is beautiful to look at and allows multiple inspirations but it is for people who already know will not make up for beginners, but it is only a personal opinion.
