The reason for the RAM upgrade was upgraded my ASUS Eee PC 1000H on Win7, is grateful for more than 1GB RAM. Since there is only one RAM sockets in 1000H, the built-in 1GB-bolt against the 2GB must be replaced. That was easy. The 2GB eee were detected in BIOS (the RAM check passes) in Windows until the quick-boot setting for shutdown. This is plausible, and eee cause of, not the RAM. As a result, the Eee PC with 2GB boots though hardly faster than 1GB. But if you then open additional programs and processed files, which is more memory available, and then goes just everything really clearly (!) Liquid. An investment so that has really paid off. Whether other memory do the job better or worse, I do not know. I can only report on the results after installation of this chip.
