Before buying these pliers I had already tried several other crimping pliers in the price range 20 to 30 EUR. These possessed all kinds of features, such as double-acting lever construction, ratchet function, simultaneous crimping of conductor and insulation and replaceable inserts. Unfortunately, they all had especially when crimping smaller contacts problems. It just was not possible so reliably to achieve a clean crimping. This tool here on the other hand focuses on the essentials: Small and lightweight, simple design. The manufacturing quality is very good, and can be achieved reliably good results when operated properly, even with very small contacts. However, the results are quite operator dependent, as you manually position the contacts and has to apply the correct pressure force. Something craftsmanship and feeling are thus quite helpful. In addition, wires and insulation in two operations must be crimped individually. All this is in the enclosed instructions (English / Japanese, due to many images even without knowledge of English easy to understand) described. The tool is not necessarily intended for processing larger quantities, but rather for work in the private sector or for repair purposes. There is in any case very well suited, so full marks.
