Simple but powerful 1

A beautiful love story, which reads quite easily. I loved the style of the author, simple but powerful. The Armand Duval and Marguerite Gautier characters are very endearing and over reading one comes to expect that their love will give strength to Marguerite to heal and get out of this condition courtesan. Real photograph of an era, this novel can give us a different picture of what the courtesans. Some longed for love, but their beauty was both their best ally and worst enemy. The beauty offered them the luxury and middle-class living conditions. Unfortunately, men they met were only trying to have this beauty without seeking to know the true personality of these women.

Cruel fate of its women condemned to sell their beauty, never come to know love.
