0.90 meter: a size that may sound ridiculous but can be very useful for connecting a device located just below the TV without it lying on the floor.
4.60 meter: a comfortable size for scarce distances in a living room but has the merit of stop where the signal may begin transmission problems. Indeed, it is from 5.0 meters as we begin to have the possibility of losing data during transit of the audio-video stream. The size of 4.60 meters with a small margin allows to overcome this "detail".
Negative point however, the entourages of plastic socket are especially thick and massive, it can interfere with their size to their good use in some devices whose HDMI are too close to each other.
Finally, note that below 5 meters, there will be no difference in quality of the reproduced signal that you take a cable 10 or cable 100 as long as it is shielded and has a high density copper foliage. Beyond that, it's a different story.
