Skeptical at first but filled at the end

So yet another Assassin's Creed. Personally, since Assassin's Creed 2, each installment disappointed me but Unity is set in an era that interested me: the French Revolution in Paris and the first next-gen.

The game is graphically super nice, the city is beautiful and very large. News immediately obvious: first the density of people on the screen is impressive, there are hundreds of people waving perfectly modeled. We feel that we move on to another stage with the PS4 / One.
Then FINALLY new moves! Since the time .. It has new towers to climb, fight, jump etc. Frankly nothing that's new life to the saga.

For fighting, they are very intense because eventually ease to counter and kill in one shot. Now only the ability to counter the sword is present, which means we have a very great skill during these phases. We can not fight against twenty guards, just because you have too many things to think about: counter with swords, avoid shots, dodge the large attacks, grenades etc etc. But it's a very good point for Ubisoft because when you come out victorious battles you feel proud and self-satisfied.

Another point that I enjoyed: Paris. It was missing the big cities with buildings glued to each other, so that you can cross half the city rooftops. I think it was sorely lacking in the last opus. And the city is beautiful and very well represented.
As for the script, I personally liked despite what is true of the redundant thing complicated love story, including a story of revenge. But everything is very well orchestrated with a grand finale.

The rest of the gameplay Assassin's Creed but with a novelty that are the infiltration phases last tour and perfectly managed. I especially appreciated that they let us choose our mode of attack.

The weak points of the game are perhaps repetitive missions but that we can totally do it our way (nag mode, or infiltration) and a severe lack of culture of the Assassins. Characters like Altair was a presence, a charisma that emanated, he take us with him in his world and we became empathic its joys and sufferings. In Unity we focus on the scenario.

You'll understand this Assassin's Creed gives new life to the saga that needed it. Many good things that bring the series without distorting.
Fearing a Bi episode is rather a fresh start with a transition on next-gen which operates in the most beautiful way.

Hoping that Ubisoft is not resting on its laurels and confirms this excellent episode with his neighbor that I look forward to.
