Parzival EYE, are a side band called the 2009 Chris Postl, the bassist of RPWL into being. The debut album "Fragments", was released in September 2009. "defragments" is now the continuation of this year. Members of magenta, PALLAS, ALAN PARSONS PROJECT, and yet the three German musicians: Ossi Schaller, Hannes Weigend and Martin Keeser, complementing the line up of "defragments". The overall impression is quite neat, which "defragments" rather quiet tones strikes. 10 pieces spread over lush 61:28 minutes sprinkle a while with mostly quite well audible songs that nevertheless somehow almost all remain pale. The recognition is not too high and I went a bit disappointed after several passes. Where "Fragments" interesting song structures offered, they are rather arbitrary and sometimes even a little long-winded in "defragments". Conclusion: "defragments", is a largely though nice, listenable album without, however completely to convince. It hurts no one, but actually is not necessarily "need". 3 stars are to the effect then just installed.
