The advertised performance increase over the predecessor is just hot air. On my iMac with an Intel i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSD and Mac OS X 10:10 Adobe Lightroom runs much smoother and faster than 5 Version 6. What also amazes me is that rendering a 1: 1 view of photos in the library roughly twice as much time required cumbersome react for image repair, so accurate marking is not possible, as in the development of modules, or masking brush when marking the areas.
Well, there are now HDR, Panorama and Face Detection. I have not tried this. For the former, I use other programs. Programs that give me enough control over the photos and work faster and more accurately than Photoshop.
So far I'm just disappointed with Adobe Lightroom 6 / CC. I would say that the quality assurance at this time Adobe has quite failed.
