The Sony Sal-85 f2.8 pleasantly surprised me. It is small, light - certainly by the Plastikbajonett- and brings already in the open aperture mode a good sharpness. To a stage dimmed the sharpness is excellent. I had the opportunity to try this lens 380 in detail at a carnival event under very poor lighting conditions on a Sony Alpha a few days ago. The results are, particularly with regard to the sharpness and contrast, beyond any doubt. For the price and it offered great Bildqualtität I am willing to take the plastic look into buying. Who does not want to have the Sony and some third-party light stronger, heavier, and above all more expensive variants on offer.
