The unit draws very reliable, the leaves of a small stack (up to 20 sheets) so that the front and back can be scanned in a single pass, speeding the matter in a pleasant way. The included software is built CaptureOnToch simple and yet offers very convenient features. One can for example specify whether the page size automatically detected (works well) or to be set manually or whether blank back pages are omitted when saving. If you want to process more than 20 sheets for a file, you can select an option "Continuous Scan" and continues to add paper.
The promised scanning speed of 15 p / min (ie when duplex scans 30 p / min) can I accurately confirm - as long as one chooses not to high resolution. This speed is incidentally only be achieved if, in addition to the USB data cable also connects a second cable provided, sits on its scanner-sided end of a 2-pole coaxial connector for additional power supply. Only with the USB data cable, the scanner is somewhat, but not dramatically slower.
The scan quality is absolutely satisfactory with conventional templates. I might not even use the scanner to read high-quality templates, as then, the 600 dpi can be scarce. In this case, a high-resolution flatbed scanner is superior - the P-150 is just a specialist for specific tasks.
Conclusion: Who has a lot of single sheets, which he wants to digitize, may at the P-150 have been thrilled! Apart from the good per se performance the device is also portable - what more could you want! For use on the road, I can incidentally also highly recommend the exact matching, unfortunately a bit expensive Canon bag.
