Furthermore, I must say that the defect has worsened in the front light and the unit eventually no longer left turn. That's why I complained about the lamp set. But I leave it at one point deduction, because defects are indeed never ruled otherwise and I'm still happy with the lamps. I was unhesitatingly sent a replacement lamp.
In spite of everything I have now time to try a different set:
Sport DirectTM Bicycle LED Lamp Set Mega Mini Silicone Black
This is a little cheaper and the color fits better my bike. The mounting options are less flexible, but visually the lamps are still discreet. In size, weight and brightness they do not take much with the advertised here Set. So far, they function perfectly and I'm excited to see how they withstand the winter.
Edit after 1 year:
===================
After a year and use even in winter I prefer from a star. All listed below plus points are still valid but the front light has developed a bit of a problem at the counter. The switch button does not work properly, so I often press repeatedly, hold, must click around, so that switches the mode or the lamp on and go out. However, in the taillight this problem does not exist. Maybe it's the cold, which was exposed to the electronics. However, I think that a bicycle lamp that would have to be able to withstand.
The hidden mounting and permanent leave the bicycle have been paid. The lamps were not stolen considering its unobtrusiveness and do, with the small reservation, continue their service.
I have found no problems with the battery life. The lamps shine with fresh button cell batteries (see link below) for a long time. I once changed the batteries in 1.5 years.
Here are my old, still valid review:
------------------------------------------------
Basis:
===========
Since battery lamps nowadays yes no STVO approval have more (EDIT: see comments) I'm looking for my sportive everyday emergency lighting that is as small as possible while still bright enough.
Pro:
=====
+++ Ordinary brightness: better than an old incandescent Dynamo lighting
+++ Small and space-saving (both on the bike and during transport): about 4 cm x 2.5 cm
+++ Handsome, sporty look
+++ 2 mounting options: Velcro strap or elastic band
+++ Easily / quickly attaching and abmachbar
+++ Suitable not only for bicycle, also for backpack, jacket, helmet etc.
+++ Hidden / unobtrusively permanently mounted on the bike
+++ Very water-repellent
+++ Good battery life of 50 hours (practically not yet exhausted)
Cons:
========
--- Using CR2032 coin cell (non-rechargeable)
--- Not STVO-approved (EDIT: but recently approved)
--- 2 button cell batteries per lamp
Conclusion:
=======
So far, I am extremely pleased with this Lamp stopgap.
Both the front and the rear light is extremely bright, the former offers not only protection by being seen but also meets for myself adequate lighting (in total darkness only at slow speeds).
Attaching the bicycle is variable and can go with the elastic band very quickly and easily. If I want to remove the bulbs from the bike I can carry in a small bag because they take away (not like the old giant battery Klopper) little space.
A special feature is that I can install on the bike very small lamps very unobtrusive - you see a stranger hardly. The headlight I have mounted on the underside of my bell and the rear light under my saddle. I'm going in the hope that anyone even notice the risk, they simply leave permanently on bike. So I do not always remember to take it.
All in all, a good solution for reasonably low price.
PS: Here at Amazon you can buy the CR2032 coin-cell 5 Pack to just 2.50: Panasonic CR 2032 P-5 BL coin cell lithium 5 - does not include shipping costs.
