Now for the BUT: in monochrome, bright backgrounds, the exposure of my CLP-300 is apparently overwhelmed or defective, or at least about the printer draws from the very beginning (since purchase) a light, pastel colored background, but also bright, low-contrast photos as well as black and white -Photos with several delicate, 1cm-wide Magenta Stripes (no contamination of the pressure rollers). I turned to the Samsung Service who finally sent a service technician after 3 weeks, who could not cure the defect (banding on plain surfaces). It turned out rather that this banding and strong color distortions compromise the smoothness of a series error which was also reflected in replacement devices. You told me to return the unit, which I did. At this point, kudos to the Amazon customer service that responds quickly and easily even with difficulty!
Conclusion: A relatively lightweight device with handy dimensions, innovative toner replacement concept, fast, quiet, with fine text printing, very usable photo printing, but unfortunately incorrect exposure in solid areas and gray tones. The paper version is badly solved: the printed page flutters merrily to the ground when one forgets expand the small top plastic holder. There are alternatives, such as the model CLP-350N proves. The toner consumption is however noticeably high. The customer service reacts extremely slowly.
