The pen itself is of impressive quality. After testing different pens, I return regularly to Parker for the quality of their writing. Rapeuse slightly, slightly hanging paper in the first minutes of use, the pen is quick, the time that the simprègne pen ink. Once this is done, writing becomes a pleasure. The pen glides very well, do not drool, and has a lovely smooth and supple plot.
A first accessory wherein however invest is a converter for bottled ink. Due to the own special format to Parker, only their cartridges are accepted. Given the limited options and colors (not necessarily to the liking of everyone, especially the blue not necessarily beautiful, but above all that tends to wash off in time ...), the purchase of a converter essential. But then all the ink ranges are accepted, the J.Herbin to IROSHIZUKU, and the choice is huge. Besides cartridges economy and easy filling. In short, an important gain for a pen like that.
In the end, this is a very good pen to start slowly in luxury pens or simply have fun.
Note: Contrary to a comment, an ink cartridge is indeed comes with: one must look under the "base", hidden on one side. It must be recognized that it is especially hard to find for that do not seek. :)
