Of course, the SJ4000 not come close to a GoPro the latest generation, but especially as measured by the price it is for many users an excellent alternative.
Camera unpacked, equal the first surprise. The camera looks quite valuable and well finished, the accessory seems limitless. Here you have to first of all give an overview of what is what used. Many parts will be sure never need, but most of it is really useful to install the camera at the desired destination. Practical: A lot of GoPro accessories are compatible with this device. So if you already have brackets installed on motorcycle and Co., you can get started right away eventually. The camera is equipped with 60 grams slightly gratifying.

The camera sits in the plastic case and should be water resistant to 30 meters. Underwater I could not test the SJ4000, but splashing and rain were no threat to the sensitive technology everything has kept close!
Conclusion: the GoPro devices and the Panasonic HX-A500, the measure of all things stay for professionals and serious users, for all others the SJ4000 is a serious alternative. The price / performance ratio is absolutely top!
