First of all, even a praise to the supplier Abel.tv! The item has arrived one day after ordering - not even Amazon itself creates the faster ;-).
Now we come to the device.
First of all I was surprised at the packaging - although I had read through the dimensions of short, but when I saw the box, I have only once scared. Klein is really not an expression. When I opened the box and saw that the receiver even just twice as large as the remote control is, I was even more scared and was afraid the worst.
However, I must confess that I have inspired the initial installation. Short set the country, the last loaded current station list and already I received the first in HD. Pay a visit initiated a channel scan in Menu and whoosh the device was within 10 minutes up to date.
The station sorting, even in the main list goes relatively quickly and easily by hand.
The channel change, the switching between functions such as TXT, EPG and Co. go also liquid by hand.
Very important: Menu and Co. can be complete by Parental Control quasi. Since the devices come in a household of pensioners more advanced age, this is a super solution to protect against incorrect operation. The remote control and the functions are straightforward and tidy. HBB TV and Co. one seeks in vain, of course, is probably also to be found in this price range tend to be less.
The PVR function is short means the connected storage medium in stock and it can be taken up diligently. The TimeShift function is then also the election. A bucking in recorded HD content I could in an older 8GB not find stick. So if a receiver for critical user searches, no frills and needs an inconspicuous as possible device needs, yet does not want to compromise on quality, can access here in my opinion without fear.
