Now we come to the tasting:
Odor / Nosing: If you have opened the bottle and poured a glass, you can smell the same aromatic peat smoke, but not nearly as intense as in a Lagavulin. To conceal fruits like apples, oranges, lemons Behind the mild smoke.
Taste / Tasting: Very aromatic and spicy. You can taste the mild peat smoke. Then come notes of sweet fruit.
Departure / finish: The aftertaste very long lasting. It tastes quite a while the smoke.
I personally liked Oban 14 years very well. It is very aromatic and smoky. However, the peat smoke is not as intense as the Lagavulin. For the class single malt there 5von5 star.
