Use this device under Windows 7 and Linux, and Ubuntu without any problems.
The unit recognizes the connected devices, such as USB memory sticks, RS232-USB adapter (Digitus), mice, keyboards, easily. Had so far not found any problems.
In addition, the external power supply is a nice and useful extra feature,
to which one can not do without when using the raspberry eg.
Build quality - according to the price - pretty neat and solid.
