Technical aspects:
-Man Requires, as already mentioned in other reviews, a nano sim.
-The Battery is changeable (for me was a KO criterion!)
Memory cards are supported (also a KO criterion!) I use a Lexar 64GB Micro SD card with no problems.
-The Processing of 830 is blameless, the aluminum frame looks classy. Voice quality and reception are immaculate.
-4-Core processor and 1GB memory with solid and (for Windows Phone) absolutely sufficient power.
-Good Screen even if I FullHD resolution and CBD as the 930s would have preferred.
Software Phone:
I'm honestly surprised that the tile (formerly Metro interface) can then customize: you can position, size and content (for folders) vary play, especially useful. Widgets are obsolete by the animated (in the major cases) Tiles. The operation of the phone is a not to shame on the contrary: it is playing slightly out of hand! The look and feel of Windows (Phone), so the design language of all products (Online account, Office, ...) away throughout, very pleasant and clearly I designed must say that I missed at Google / Gmail in the form ,
-An MS account is necessary to set up: In the meantime, I coordinate a lot about this account; everything is (see above) divided very clearly. But you can also, for example, his Gmail address to use to set up a MS Account -. The Lumia gets then all information (contacts, calendar, etc.) from the Gmail account from.
-The Operation is absolutely smooth and without any lag (1GB memory ranges here obviously good).
-Onedrive As an online store is well integrated into the system I've been using it like. I'm curious how the integration with Windows 10 is still progressing
-Apps: One drawback, if you will, the phone comes with extensive standard equipment, you will find many (but not all) fashionable apps in the store. Personally, I'm not too much of apps and also need not always represent the latest app on the phone to me is because a good basic phone adequately.
- Office and OneNote (! Great note program on all my networked devices away) are on board: This is a home game for Microsoft here you are no nakedness!
-Here Apps: great, worldwide Free Navigation
Accessories:
Is something concise: charger, cable and Quick Start Guide. At least a headset would be able to settle.
Meanwhile, I got myself a wireless charging pad for my Fatboy 830 is functioning properly. Covers were ordered here on Amazon; as Handyhülle I use the 01 Sidney Simon Pike (also ordered on Amazon see separate review).
Conclusion:
At the current price (I bought it for about 250.-) is the Lumia 830 a bargain the Americans would say: Best bang for bucks! Especially if you include the aspect that the Lumia 830 is an update to Windows get 10. As mentioned earlier, I was Windows Phone compared to over skeptical but I can only advise, this operating system in general and the Lumia 830 to be considered in particular times now more family members are still switched to a Windows Phone)
From me there for this great product 5 stars.
