- That the shells wobble a little, and not 100% fit together, making it around the steamer around is also often a bit wet. But that is the smallest.
- That when the buttons after a few months (with no frequent use) already lacks the writing on the plastic.
- That the pre-set programs can not really anything other than to adjust the time.
- That Rice, especially brown rice, really ever need. I cook for example. Like a mixture of whole grain and wild rice. According to instructions on the package requires that 30 minutes in a pot of boiling water. In the steamer rice cooker (the large bowl purely top comes), they need easy 45-50 minutes. This cooking takes not only longer, but I have the impression that one consumes a tremendous amount of water.
- That the cleaning unfortunately turns out to be very difficult. Yes, many of the parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher, which is a big plus point. But as I have noted before me other reviewers, unfortunately remains a small residue in the base unit back, and this part of the hydrological cycle can not be opened unfortunately. Thus it happened that the next time the whole kitchen smells of the fish cooking for fish, although you do now absolutely no fish.
- That the steamer can be used only conditionally as egg cooker. By purchasing we wanted to dispose of the egg cooker to less and thus have a kitchen appliance more space, but unfortunately the eggs cooking in steam oven is very unreliable. Times they are too soft, sometimes they are good, but somehow is not (yet) to recognize no clear line. We try now always with 4 eggs at 9 or 10 minutes, with 1 minute can already make a marked difference.

I like, ...

- That almost all parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher just fine (see above).
- That the steamer can be stowed very space-saving, because all the parts fit.
- That even fish is very fast and super taste for this type of preparation. I'm actually a big fan of BBQ and toasty, but the cooked in steam fish has convinced me! Unfortunately, the bites with one of my criticisms of top :(

As a neutral, I would like to evaluate ...

- That the aroma-use mM caused by not very much, except that the kitchen smells good. The taste I could not detect any effect. But at least it is good clean when cleaning)
- That the tone is loud enough, but you have to be to hear him already in the same room.
- That after the time of Dampfgarprozess is turned off, the device but then immediately goes into a hold mode, which can not be shut off beforehand. Is certainly helpful, but for example, when boiling hot food. The eggs cooking counterproductive.
- That the cooking chambers are not independently controllable and stackable, as they are all over each other. One can the food the longer it takes to cook first and then dazwischenbauen a 2nd cup after appropriate time, but then is interrupted then cooking in progress, makes everything wet and burns easily in the hot steam. But since I have finally seen the building before, I do not regard it as a minus point here. An alternative I have unfortunately not found until now (see below).

Conclusion:
Since the device was not so expensive (I have about 10 months ago just below 60, - paid), I can see fairly across the weaknesses and have him, even though my expectations are disappointed regularly in use. Given the fact that there did not seem to give time to the market for this price much better, it's ok, but nothing more.
The Jamie Oliver variant does not seem to be much different but substantially identical. The apparent differences are the design and the price :) On the product side of the Jamie Oliver-variant you find a tabular product comparison of the two steamer by the manufacturer.

Update:
Meanwhile, I have found another steamer, which I would prefer to buy today, because they have separately controllable cooking chambers and it looks as if one could really remove all the water in the base unit. They would then have the problem with the smell of previous food not that unfortunately persists in this unit.
As a tip for others:
These other, usually square models are available eg. From Klarstein and Morphy Richards, in the latter case the plastic parts probably unfortunately the harmful BPA contained, what to look for when buying one. If I were to buy a steamer me now again, then I would take a separate cooking chambers with and with well-to-clean base unit.
