One can deal with all systems more or less good shave, that's for sure. A modern system provides razor in my opinion the best protection and comfort in really good shave. What will be the loser? Most of the style, and the budget for the blades.
Blade of the market leader you can in a SG stock Pack purchase (12 blades) for about 40.-, an insolence in my opinion. However, there is a reason why it is the leader: its blades are really good. An additional trimmer blade is me, for example, an important tool. This one can be found in various blades discounter, but the handling is in my opinion a disaster. The handles (ok, one can argue about taste) are basically a mishmash, which it most completely lacking in beauty, elegance and value. Sure, there are factories in which one can acquire common systems also handles quality, but is also the right place to take money in the hand.
