With this wireless card reader, it is also directly from the card, also of CF (CompactFlash).
I'm doing:
1 card reader to charge or to a charger hang (a power cord is not present, only the USB cable) and turn.
The device appears as a Wi-Fi iPad and can be coupled.
With the Kingston MobileLite App necessarily Wireless Set password, otherwise you can watch the whole area, delete or download images.
2.Zum looking at the pictures I use the File Browser app. The MobileLite is connected via the search as a PC, login name and password remain free.
3. In the File Browser, I have the thumbnails setting to Auto. All set and (depending on available memory, in my case 200) the desired number of thumbnail images that you want to keep set.
4. to the USB port I have infected a simple card reader for CF and there inserted the CF memory card.
The map appears with USB1 and can be wonderfully searched.
The pictures can be assessed much better on the iPad than on the camera itself, what has become nothing, will be deleted immediately.
The MobileLite appears to show Nikon RAW files (NEF), but that does not always work (?) And takes a long time.
So I set the camera to RAW + jpgBasic, so I can watch the jpgs well.
If one browses through NEFs, the MobileLite is bitchy and disconnects frequently.
Point deduction, there was of me because of the default open wifi and because the misfires in very large files.
Addendum: If the MobileLite is restarted, the card reader with the CF card is not always recognized and must be on USB several times from and infected until it appears in the File Browser.
Is a little annoying ....
