Typical Amazon I got the set properly packaged and delivered afloat home. After unpacking came the first disappointment. The pots do not have in liters (was my fault that I have read about this apparently, yet I think that this should already be speed-and Were in brand pots). I also compared the pots with high quality of the same brand (Fissler Profi Collection). Here you can tell right away that there is a significant difference in weight between the two pot sets. The Fissler Profi Collection are likely to be built here massive and thus be more difficult. Otherwise the pot surfaces are flat and are well and evenly. The cool metal handles are indeed hot when cooking, but not incredibly hot that they could no longer attack. Logically, when you would put the pot into the oven, any cold metal handle would be unanfassbar hot.
The glass cover of the Corfu Potsets do that which they were built, they are good at and have minimal if only (common) play. It should be noted at the covers that the handles are not matted above, this guide means that you after washing little unsightly mottled appearances it looks (no rust or the like, but just not nice shiny).
Regarding Aquarium in the lid: It is definitely so (with 2 lids I have noticed this) that when washing in the dishwasher water accumulates between the glass and the handle base. My theory is that either these grip plate through the dishwasher heat expands slightly and thus a gap to the glass caused by the water come into it. The cooling after washing the gap and the water remains trapped closes. A second possible entry point would be to screw (this is drilled through the glass) with which the handle is attached to the glass lid. The second one of entry would be worse because of the gap would be opened by cooking again and would then drop the bit of water into the food (= thought experiment). One is fixed, the water is sometimes the lid it goes simply by unscrewing the handle or at least the opening of the screw back out.
Conclusion: At this price you can not expect professional pots, that's obvious, but the Fissler Cookware Corfu is a solid compilation of commonly used pot sizes. However, it noted some points that these pots also are not worth more than is required for that. Despite the same steel Collection Professional-quality works a lot. In particular, the design flaw with the water in the lid is annoying. Frosted cover-handles would also have been nice (but is my opinion). A point which should be noted is that there is no practical liter scale in the inside of the pots.
I for my circumstances have returned the pots again, because I expected a little more of the brand Fissler.
