But the enemy clan chief Sable and the manipulative Hess have the only way to reach the Blue silence, in their power: the young Cinder who can control the airwaves storms. Together forge Perry and Aria a dangerous plan to rescue Cinder. But for this they need help from an unusual side ...
Hach, now it is finished, the search for the Blue silence. One last time I Aria and Perry accompanied by the devastating storms of ether world and hit the tribal community of the tides. From the outset, the trilogy could inspire me, in the two absolutely different worlds and characters collide. I regret to say that the trilogy conclusion but leaves me somewhat ruefully, because something more I had hoped for from the final yet. Although he just no longer offers everything must have a happy ending, however. A solid, but not very surprising conclusion, I would describe Veronica Rossi's "Into the Blue Still" most likely.
Do not get me wrong, he's really good, resolves all outstanding issues (eg. As by Arias father) and ends the series and you can definitely satisfy the shelf. But somehow I was still missing something, something special, which would in turn ensures an unforgettable final. Beth Revis or Marie Lu example, have flashed me in the last part of her trilogy again properly and can surprise. So something like that I would have liked here. I get instead exactly what I was expecting before the reading. The turns were not as surprising as that wow effect would have occurred to me.
Nevertheless, I am not unhappy as I said. This time the story was again exciting and dramatic and emotional. Sable and Hess are proving to be incredibly dangerous opponents and Perry and Aria their love to each other are finally safe and act as a strong team, which pleased me very much for the two. But for romance they have little time, because not only saved Cinder needs, but also the opposing settlers and tribal members are reconciled.
Perry and Aria are really grown on me over the series to heart and have since Volume 1 undergone very credible character development that will be continued this band. Aria, at the beginning of a warped, led by prejudices settler has, their skills and their lives outside the protective dome fully accepted. Perry, meanwhile, continues to suffer from the pressure, as a mere nineteen years of tribal leaders to take responsibility for so many people, but nevertheless demonstrates leadership. But precisely because he comes with his best friend Roar each other, who can not believe that Perry touched the death of his sister Liv seemingly so little. For the first time a deep rift goes through the friendship between the two and the usually so cheerful and charming Roar we experience here from a completely different angle, namely bitter and angry.
I found it very nice that not only Perry and Aria, but also the supporting characters cherished here again a worthy appearance is commanded. Only Cinder, who really plays an incredibly important role in the history, I came a little too short.
As I said, a little melancholy indeed remains, but nevertheless Veronica Rossi is a great end to a great trilogy succeeded and I'm going to Perry and Aria really miss. Thank you two for the exciting journey that I was able to experience together with you two!
