Solid, decent game. Point. But nothing more!

Caveat: Reviews are always a matter of taste! It can not shake it!

The game is m. E. after a solid game, which you can specify if you can what to do with the genre "Wild West" and "Mission fulfillment / sidequests". Technically, the title is as solid and said ok, no more, no less. It is m. E. no contender for Game of the Year. But not so bad that you should tear it.

I was the game not as packed as it at that time: did "Batman AA". This is now in retrospect probably because RDR, has been a little too much hyped as it happens so often. At any point it was praised and valued even as a game of the year (before release). The I think is not so. The gameplay constantly repeats itself, to the side missions that can not really promise much variety to come.

Even if one takes maybe the fans of the game on their feet: the missions are the same as a rule. Riding, shooting, driving coach, shoot, look, back riding / -Go, shoot here, look map, looking for targets, shoot, catch criminals, shooting, catching horses, cattle driving, shooting, riding, swing

This must not say anything be entirely bad, but I expected more from RDR. As well, anyone who has played the game, to be honest with themselves: more than repetitive tasks with different names and people, it is not. But even that I have experienced worse yet in other games.

Furthermore bothers me also that many trophies have to be done only online and in co-op. Thus, it gets the game in this area rather a pure first-person shooter character, which I do not necessarily like so. But that's up to you myself.

All in all, let me say that you can buy the game without getting angry 3 weeks, because if one of the genre can start something. Who is z. B. only on WWII should leave it alone. Because in my opinion the (very good) Western atmosphere the weak points of the game is not out skin.

The story is in the course of the game better, a little tension is also obtained. More I will not tell.

I admit the title 3 stars because it's like saying, average and solid made and also brings plenty of hours of play. One should also be honest with the reviews, because how can I assess if a real blast comes out, 8 stars? It does not work. But as said at the beginning: Reviews are always based on personal tastes. Thus, it is a 3 star game for me. I play it still like, am not bored, but something more innovation and change, I would have liked.

No bad buy - but not a title of silence leaves me!
