Solid Mobile

I have the phone now for over 2 weeks. As such, the Nokia 301 does what it says - a key for all the phone calls and write SMS only and do not want a smartphone. It looks good and is also good in the hand (also because it is relatively heavy). The camera is ok for individual snapshots, nothing more, but that one should not expect in a mobile phone in this price range (although Nokia a lot of advertising to its mobile phone cameras makes lately, which is probably true only on the expensive smartphones). The display is very good, the voice quality is also very good (although would not be noticed until now that they are much better than other mobile phones is).

In order to shortcomings: battery time is shorter than expected (for me at the time about 4 days with little activity, is indeed OK, but not nearly enough to the promised month standby time) and 2 minor errors occur at me again and again: turn help messages by itself again; when the phone sometimes "wakes" (ie a button is pressed so that one sees, for example, the time) then lights rarely, but, just the display. It can not do anything, except wait until it gets dark again, then wait a bit and then go back to normal.

I am quite satisfied with the purchase, which makes 301 what it should. According to the testimony of a Nokia employee in Nokia Discussions forum is (whatever that is) released a new software version in the near future. I hope that then the battery a bit lasts longer and the little bugs are gone. As long as I give 4 stars.

Recommendation: wait a few weeks, the new software should be there and maybe it'll even slightly cheaper.
