Gameplay
I must admit that I'm not a huge Dynasty or Samurai Warriors fan, which previously skeptical made me, of course, if One Piece can convince in this game principle - especially one else knows it almost exclusively as a beat 'em up (with a few exceptions) , But the fact is that I was completely convinced after the first few episodes that the gameplay and One Piece like the fist fits the eye. Man fights his way, as often in the anime / manga by masses of low-level opponents and draws at the end of the Boss the wool over your eyes.
The levels are divided into action, Musou and Boss, all of which have their idiosyncrasies and therefore maintain the fun and variety.
In action it does not apply to so extreme opponents masses as usual, because these levels are limited more to the use of Luffy's abilities in principle a Jump n 'Run game. Man jumps or flies up from roof to roof or platform to platform. Where you there sometimes quite device "through various keys sequences under stress. ^^
It applies in Musou to conquer all of them as in Dynasty Warriors on a map with different territories. These fights are in each territory as long as through masses of enemies until ultimately a leader / interim boss appears. After having blown away the part of the area you and go on was conquered by all.
In Boss, you guessed it, it's really just a matter of a boss enemy that is sometimes not always so easy to turn off - the boss is defeated is also the level completed.
Story

It remains only to hope that the mentioned episodes, or at least a few of them might eventually submitted by DLC - which also leaves a bitter aftertaste, as these packages yes 3 between - cost 5 EUR and thus after a certain number rather quickly the Price of a complete game result.
Graphic
Many believe that the graphics were not timely, I find, however, that it was very well matched to the sense of the game. Because honestly, One Piece is not Uncharted or Assassin's Creed, where it is cities, people or environments represent as realistic as you can get - no, One Piece is an anime / manga and exactly this flair is the appearing, cheap for some generated graphics. It is a mixture of manganese, one notices particularly at the Oda-typical line-shading and the partly comical portrayal of the characters and the anime.
Negative to chalk remains in the graphic at most, that there is always only 3 or 4 enemies sprites and therefore look in the crowd of opponents almost all the same. Tarnish the game does not do that now but really.
Characters
It is a pity that you can play through the main story with Luffy, but well, probably it would be too much become for each character to roll up the complete action once. As a consolation prize you can indeed fight in the other logs with Sanji, Zoro, Nami & Co. by the masses - and the online What's even far very cool that you then has its own screen there.
But here again KOEI keep the room for open - perhaps for a sequel to the game? Who knows.
