"Watching Me" is almost like a kind of intro after the intro. Not even two minutes of running song in the player, rumbles and hard rock from the pit, to Jeffrey Attkins rhymes, so his real name, as usual, with a hoarse voice and a huge ego. This is followed with "Between Me And You" (feat. Christina Milian) and "Put It On Me" (feat. Vita) two pretty soft songs with an Asian touch. Where, however, the first looks extremely cheesy, trendy and annoying, is the second-mentioned better. Pleasant melodic, really chilled and not nearly as intrusive as its predecessor, is this track fast the way to be heard, Yes's sung chorus that yes from there was to be one of his recipes for success, sounds, thanks to its great voice real nice and shows his emotional side. The old Murderer from 1999 you get with "6 Feet Underground" again to feel. Hard, dark, depressing and powerfully wummert the instrumental, plus a Ja Rule, announcing again to make every Platt, who represents him in the way.
One of the most best pieces should "Love Me, Hate Me" be. It strikes again a melodic direction, impresses with a mix of violins and synthesizers effects that make the whole thing very round and catchy. Yes raps about his lifestyle, excited during the verses with dedicated flow and again wonderful vocal in Hook. To naturally fall now not quite on the soft track, it then goes back slightly harder to the point, very pleasant because so pays no monotony or boredom. "The" (feat. Tah Murdah, Black Child & Dave Bing) or "Fuck You" (feat. 01 & Vita) have been with their titles the avoidance of doubt, what is to be expected here. Driving beats, a dark atmosphere and anything but friendly texts ensure that the name Murder Inc. nor may decrease somewhat credible to.
"Extasy" (feat. Tah Murdah, Black Child & Jayo Felony) is based on the club sound, combines a rhythmic beat with funk and pop elements, grooving properly nice and should anyone more even a mainstream sound is not completely averse to predict. Further evidence of the different styles, that you can try on "Rule 3:36", is "It's Your Life". This time the listener gets chilled reggae tunes to your ears, which together with a few trumpets for Caribbean summer flair, sings and raps Yes again rather little scratchy, Feature Shade Sheist contrast, are the elegant and casual Part with his verse. Quite adventurous, better said outlandish, ideas presented us with Rule "One Of Us", in which he tells us how he was unbeatable and powerful with the Lord at his side ("Cause Rule and the Lord got it going on ...". Certainly far-fetched , although to listen very interesting, the perfect musical accompaniment makes the song then even a real climax, before the album with the calm and thoughtful "The Rule Will not Die" fades.
Varied, melodic, dark, hard - "Rule 3:36" is not boring! Except for "Between Me And You" and "I Cry", which have become soft in my opinion, you can listen to the wonderful disc, regardless of whether or ruff rather chilling. One notices Ja Rule to that is that this board more aimed towards charts than its predecessor yet, but you can it as most other Def Jam albums around 2000 safe abgewinnen lot. Overall, well recommended his second-best work after the debut, so all Ja Rule fans and even those who do not necessarily insist on deepen Underground.
